Medicare Allocations, Inc. maintains the privacy of protected health information (PHI) in accordance with applicable federal and states laws.

The information disclosed to Medicare Allocations, Inc. will be utilized for the sole purpose of completing a Medicare Set-Aside. Personal information concerning you will not be shared with non-affiliated third parties outside of the professionals involved to complete a Medicare Set-Aside Allocation. The information collected will be used for the purpose of assisting the designated representative of Medicare Allocations, Inc. in completing a Medicare Set-aside Allocation.

Specific consent will be obtained prior to the submission of the Medicare Set-Aside or to disclose, discuss, and/or release, orally or in writing, information related to the patient to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and its’ agents.

Medicare Allocations, Inc. utilizes a variety of computer hardware and software security tools to insure privacy and data integrity. Additional protection is provided by network routers and firewalls designed to block any unauthorized access. Password protection is required for all web based account services.

Communication with our customers is an extremely important aspect of our business relationship. We are always available by phone and or email. We offer access to updated information through a quarterly newsletter and internet links to CMS as well as other web based information sources. These services are not intended for or protected by secure communication methods.
Occasionally, information may fall under the privacy regulations of HIPAA; it is the responsibility of the sender to select a secure method of communication.

Security

Medicare Allocations, Inc website collects only consensual data from the customer that will be used to service requests. We may log general statistical information such as domain name, IP address, and browser type used by visitors to our site through a site-reporting tool that runs on our server. The information is used internally only to show activity and trends of our site usage. The log file information does not contain personally identifiable information, such as name, address, phone, etc.

We do not share any non-public personal information about you with non-affiliated third parties.
